IDAHTB 2018 (International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia)

May 17th is IDAHTB 2018 – Join us at noon Thursday at Toronto City Hall, Upper Podium Green Roof! Toronto Pflag will celebrate the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia by raising the Rainbow flag; this year we will be raising both the rainbow and trans flags for the first time.

We will gather at the top of the big ramp at noon. Toronto Pflag Mom, Giselle Bloch will be MC this year and our special guests will be Darcy McLean and Candice Masci, teacher sponsors of the GSA at Milne Valley Middle School. We are delighted that members of the Milne Valley GSA will be joining us as well. We have invited Mayor John Tory to read the proclamation. And as always, we'll enjoy comments from Toronto Pflag President, Anne Creighton, on this year's international theme "Alliances in Solidarity".

For those who don’t look forward to the ramp challenge: inside City Hall take the elevator to the Wedding Chapel, then exit to the outdoors. The flag pole will be to your left.
